wild berry smoothie

A green smoothie is a great way to begin the day. Try this delicious smoothie for a nourished blast of phytochemicals and antioxidants to jumpstart your day.  YUM!

Wild Berry Smoothie

Serves 2

  • 1 organic banana
  • 1 large organic pear (cored)
  • 1 16-ounce bag frozen organic mixed wild berries (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries)
  • 1 bunch of kale, stems removed (5-7 large leaves)
  • 6-12 oz of cold water

Add the banana, frozen berries, pear, and kale into the blender.  Add 6 oz of cold water.

Start at the blender’s lowest speed setting and work your way up to the highest setting until the smoothie is well blended. Add cold water if the mixture is too thick and blend until desired consistency is achieved.

Enjoy a glass of blended goodness!!
